Hi Raymond, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
This started back in 2013 when I realized I held to key to my dreams. I worked tireless hours for a company that only saw me as a dollar sign. I truly believe that there is more to this life then being apart of a company that didn’t see me or other colleagues for the values we all carry..
I officially started Nocturnal Audio Visual inc, 2015 to create and help grow all individuals who come into our Audio Visual world/ Family. This life is more than just making a paycheck it is about creating an environment to help everyone become the best they could be to continue to help make this world an amazing place.
From the day we started it has been a true game of finding what the customers truly want and need. Anyone can provide equipment but it takes a real group of professionals to keep this customers happy and continue to grow..

Nocturnal AV has about 100 Techs nationwide and every year about 10 technicians join our family for opportunities that not many others would have, Not everyone start on the top so we help get them there..
All our new hirer are trained in all lines of business there first two years from, Budgeting, Time Management to Project Managing.

I live by this “I love reactive but, we need pro active.”

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The challenge for us just like any other company from 2019-2021, the Coronavirus threw off our whole world as the live event industry was not a thing.
From this point on we pivoted to training our young team in broadcasting and Live streaming as it was the new thing.
Not as great as the environment we were used to but we had to adjust.

I took three loans to keep us a float and it was a rough ride.
Every job we took was for pennies on the dollar just to keep the salary employees I had employed, This was a real task as i felt like a huge failure to all those who worked with us up to this point.

Coming out of this it made it a little harder as now we were in a rebuild phase just to stay alive. We had employees jump ship and steal our motto while going after our clients, this made it event harder as now we had competition we created who knew all of our playbooks.
The one thing these individual didn’t know was it wasn’t just a plan it was a follow through plan and not many our willing to go above and beyond..

Lucky for us i have always been a on the right side of everything that my client loved and wanted our Name to be on their events..
