Rising Stars: Meet Henry Becerra of Downtown San Antonio

Today we’d like to introduce you to Henry Becerra.

Hi Henry, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
It all started with a family camera my parents got from Best Buy. It was a red plastic Nikon D3100. Back then, I had no idea what photography was. I’d just set the camera to auto mode and snap pictures. That’s when my photography journey began.
As time went on, I learned all about the camera settings and how to edit images. I appreciate the art of capturing moments and making sure they last forever.
Consistency is what got me here. Drive and self-dedication have gotten me to where I am and to where I am going. Learning every single day is what got me to the next level. The next most important thing was the support of my gorgeous smoking hot wife is who has helped me go from zero to living a life worth living for. Find the right people to support you and keep going and never give up.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, the road is never smooth, and if anyone ever tells you it’s easy, they’re lying. Everything great takes time and has its challenges. There were definitely moments of doubt, fear, and wishing I had taken better pictures and decisions.. But in the end, every step is a learning opportunity as long as you push yourself to improve.
Getting better is an option, you can choose to take it or leave it. The biggest thing I learned is to never complain because I knew what I was getting myself into and what I wanted in life.
I don’t see them as struggles, but rather as opportunities. I think about how much more I can grow and learn a new style, a new look, or a new marketing technique. Or maybe just going out and talking to the people of San Antonio.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a photographer based in my hometown, San Antonio, Texas. I love capturing the best moments for couples and wedding photography. I’m especially proud of being able to create lasting memories that my clients can cherish forever. Whether it’s printing and framing a special photo or sharing it on social media, I’m thrilled to see my clients’ happiness. It’s truly rewarding to witness couples grow together and celebrate their biggest day, their wedding day, where their families can come together and enjoy a day filled with love and celebration. And guess what? They’re not just having fun together; they’re starting their own families! It’s amazing to see my couples go from dating to getting married and then having kids. That’s what it’s all about – growing together and living for each other.

How do you define success?
In my book, success is all about sticking to your goals and making them happen. Living healthy or getting healthy is the biggest factor that will give you a drive like no other. If your health is aligned your success will be greater. The joy of achieving your goals will be far greater when you take care of your temple, your body. It brings a self esteem that becomes unstoppable.
It’s about feeling truly satisfied and fulfilled when you achieve your purpose and align your actions with your values.
It’s about pursuing your own goals, not just the ones that others expect of you.
It’s about experiencing growth, not just accumulating material possessions.
It’s about the joy of reaching the end of a goal and setting your sights on the next one.
It’s about enjoying the process, not just the result. And then, repeat all over again to keep moving forward and achieving your dreams.
