Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniela Esquivel.
Daniela, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Balloons & Bubbly was created because our family is constantly celebrating life’s little wins. We have a huge family and there is always an event going on and something to decorate for. Growing up, mom always went above and beyond for holidays and birthdays and those memories are so special to me. Now that I’m a mom, I want my kids to have memories like that too. I’m a huge DIYer so I wanted to learn to make balloon garlands for all our family parties and holidays.
I started with my niece and nephew’s birthday parties and with every install, we learn so much and we improve! I feel every install gets better and better. I’ve been to a few balloon workshops to get some hands-on training and I have learned so much from other balloon artists! Balloon decor is so fun and garlands can really elevate any space. Balloons & Bubbly just hit one year and we are so excited! We’ve been so lucky to meet so many people and it is truly an honor to help make someone’s event extra special.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I would be lying if I said owning and running your own business is smooth sailing! Especially while running two businesses at the same time! My husband and I are both Realtors and the past year has been ridiculously busy.
Aside from trying to perfect our balloon garlands, we’re constantly trying to keep up with trends, trying to stay in stock with trendy balloon colors (we’re experiencing a nationwide balloon shortage), figuring out logistics, keeping up with social media. It’s a lot! We have learned so much along the way.

Balloons & Bubbly specializes in making your party extra special! We offer balloon decor, a champagne wall, backdrops, and a dígital photobooth.
We are most known for our balloon garlands and our champagne wall rental. I am most proud of our props and backdrops. My husband and I are big DIYers and we’ve made most of our rental items ourselves. If our client has a special request or a particular vision, we’re happy to create something for them!
What sets us apart from others is our customer service and our attention to detail. We always like to chat with our clients and even tour their venues together to narrow in on their vision.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
We love San Antonio! There is so much to do, the parks are beautiful, and the culture is amazing. We plan on living here for a very long time.
