Today we’d like to introduce you to Whitney Axley-Andrews.
Hi Whitney, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I was an actor in LA and TDD was my first job and I stayed with them the entire time I lived in LA 4.5yrs. The franchisor asked if I wanted to open one in ATL and we eventually did in 2014. My husband and I run our locations (24) together
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No it has NOT, I have never ran a business before so there was a huge learning curve for me. I am so lucky because my husband has ran organizations and he is excellent at it. I and the front end (creative) and he is the back end (behind the scenes). We have a great working relationship and compliment each other every well to get where we are today!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I was a dolphin trainer and moved home and started to train as an actor in 2001 and move to LA to pursue it. All of that led me to this endeavor of being an entrepreneur
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I love what we do and that we get to work from home and provide laughter and joy too people but I love a challenge and so if something up came my way I would take it head on. I think we would like to retire in 10 yrs.
