Meet Rebecca Ramirez of Full House Realty Group

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rebecca Ramirez. She and her team share their story with us below;

Rebecca Ramirez native of San Antonio Texas. It all started when my dad handed me “Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki and expected me to read it before the end of my summer vacation heading into my first year of High School.

My Dad former Marine and at the time current Investor often gave me little “orders” I like to call it while spending time together. Looking back, I now understand he planted the entrepreneur seed that would forever change the way I looked at life.

Fast forward to today, I have been self-employed going on 6 years and have helped many families relocate to and from San Antonio Texas. Real Estate has opened many doors to my creative mindset.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road to Entrepreneurship has not been the easiest, there were many challenges I had to face. Making the decision to bet on myself and switching courses was probably the hardest challenge. Although Real Estate was always in the back of my mind, my main passion was always teaching.

I had been preparing since my junior year in High School to become a teacher. It wasn’t until I was walking the stage 6 months pregnant with my Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education that I made a realization that I was not fulfilling my passion. Life was coming at me fast and the baby would be here any month now.

Call me crazy but I switched gears went to Real Estate school and passed all of my classes and my test just 2 weeks before having my first daughter. What was I thinking you may ask? Well in my mind I knew that although I absolutely loved the idea of making a huge impact in Children’s lives that I was not fulfilling my passion.

Becoming a teacher would have restricted my time, my income, the time to help mold my growing family, and most importantly my creativity. Being an Entrepreneur, you have to be able to make quick decisions and shift. Every day I have to bet on myself or my business does not survive. I am able to use my creativity to solve problems and make quick decisions that benefit my clients.

I also have the flexibility in my Real Estate business to be able to balance my family and my career. It was absolutely the hardest but best decision I ever made. Is it easy? No, I have to encourage myself every day to connect with the community, to be top of mind, and educate my clients and my community on the growing San Antonio market.

Looking back, I am currently blending my passion for teaching and Real Estate.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Full House Realty Group?
Entrepreneurs are a different breed. We love this Roller Coaster ride of not knowing where our future business will come from. However, I have survived the 5-year statistic. It is stated that 50% of businesses don’t survive past their 5-year mark. I however am coming up in my 6th year in business and also run a team of agents.

With our continued growth, we have been able to bless so many families with Home Ownership, to relocating clients to and from San Antonio, and specialize in listings. I am able to prep my Sellers to get their homes ready for the market.

I am able to understand the quality of the product for it to be priced correctly, advise my clients on the necessary upgrades or improvements needed to sell the property, and also put together the perfect marketing packet to fit my client’s needs and get the home sold for top dollar in an efficient manner. My client’s love that I am always keeping their best interest top of mind, I am well educated, goal-oriented and I am a people person.

I am able to meet my clients at all levels. Whether I’m working with an Investor who needs to evaluate a property in its current rehab condition or I’m selling a Million Dollar Home I am able to switch my skill set and strategies to fit my client’s needs. I call myself a Momtrepreneur.

My clients have been able to not only see me excel in my Real Estate business but also have been on the journey with me raising my 2 daughters. My girls have been with me since day 1 of this journey they have sat at Listing appointments with me, gone to closings with me, and have even helped me with a recent renovation I completed.

My children are the reason why I am so passionate about Real Estate and helping others because they are watching Mom juggle it all. My 5-year-old has more knowledge about the Real Estate Market, money, and problem-solving than the average toddler I know. We are a package deal.

I hope that I am able to show other Mothers that they can make their dreams happen even in a male-dominated industry. That there is enough room for everyone to live the life they want on their own terms. We are free to make as much or as little as we feel is necessary to help balance raising a family and being powerful.

9-5’s are not for everyone and its okay to take a leap of faith and depend on your own 2 feet and wisdom.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
I love San Antonio! We are so culturally diverse and have so many great spots all around our city to fit anyone’s needs. With so much progress and expansion happening it is hard not to love San Antonio.

With places like our downtown expansion, City base, The Pearl, South town, Medical Center, Stone Oak, The Rim, La Cantera, and the list continues. Anyone relocating here has so many options to choose from as to where they want to call home.
