Today we’d like to introduce you to Mike and Loren Maring.
Hi Mike and Loren, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Mike started a thriving commercial/real estate company in 1989. This last year we have decided to start working in renovation and remodeling. We love making people’s dreams come alive in their spaces.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Covid has really made it more difficult when it comes to supplies. Things have gotten a lot better lately with this issue. We are also always look for good people to join our team. Construction can often have a lot of turnovers. We are so fortunate that we have an amazing crew. They are all such great people!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We are a father and daughter team. Mike is the face of the company and meets with clients and it the main contact. Loren, his daughter has an extensive background in design. She works on all the floor plans and interior/visual aspects. After my wife died of struggling with Alzheimer’s for 15 years, she came back to San Antonio to be a part of our business. Her mom was highly involved as the company has grown and now she is taking her place. It is very full circle and special. People really love to hear that we are a father and daughter team and that we both have different strengths. When we come together we are able to create some really beautiful spaces.
Mark Garcia is our business partner and he has been in construction for years. He is our lead on all of our projects and does an incredible job leading his team. We are so thankful for his knowledge and know how. We really appreciate his hard work and his eye for perfection.
How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
We are always taking new clients. You can email us and we will have you fill out a questionnaire and then set up a time to meet in person if we feel it is a good fit and project to work on! We collaborate a lot with each homeowner to make sure they are getting everything they want.
