Success isn’t always a straight path—it’s often built from resilience, hard-earned lessons, and the desire to create something meaningful. My journey into the world of credit repair, tax preparation, and business formation wasn’t just about starting a business; it was about transforming lives, including my own.
From Financial Struggles to Corporate Compliance
Before I ever thought about launching my own business, I struggled with poor credit and financial uncertainty. Like many people, I didn’t fully understand how credit worked, and I made mistakes that left me in a difficult financial position.
That changed 15 years ago when I started working for a debt collection company in the corporate world. What began as a job quickly became an education in credit, financial responsibility, and compliance. I absorbed everything I could about the credit industry—how debt was managed, how credit scores were impacted, and the legal side of collections. I didn’t just learn these principles; I applied them to my own life and began turning my financial situation around.
Through years of hard work, I climbed the corporate ladder from Compliance Analyst to Director of Compliance for the company. But just as my career was reaching new heights, my personal life was shifting. I was going through a divorce that left me with significant credit card debt. Instead of letting that set me back, I used everything I had learned to regain control over my finances, rebuild my credit, and eliminate my debt.
I deeply understood the struggle of not knowing how credit works and learning the hard way. But I also realized that if I could overcome financial challenges, so could others. That’s when my passion for helping people gain financial freedom truly ignited.
Leaving Corporate to Build Something Meaningful
Even though I had built a successful career in compliance, I felt a calling to do more—to take what I had learned and help others break free from financial burdens. I wanted to create a pathway for people to improve their credit, manage debt, and build businesses that would secure their financial future.
Taking the leap to start my own business wasn’t easy. I was shy, introverted, and completely new to networking. But I knew that if I wanted to grow, I had to step out of my comfort zone and connect with others.
Finding Strength in Women Unlimited
One of the best decisions I made was joining Women Unlimited, a networking and support group for women in business. At first, I was hesitant—I wasn’t used to putting myself out there—but I quickly learned that surrounding yourself with strong, like-minded women is one of the most powerful things you can do for personal and professional growth.
Women Unlimited gave me more than just business connections—it gave me confidence, mentorship, and a sense of community. I began volunteering my time to help other women entrepreneurs navigate credit, business compliance, and financial management. Through this organization, I found my voice and my purpose. Today, I’m proud to serve on the board of Women Unlimited, helping to guide and support other women on their entrepreneurial journeys.
I am incredibly grateful to Brenda Anz and all the members of Women Unlimited for the knowledge, encouragement, and sisterhood they have provided. This group has been instrumental in shaping the leader and businesswoman I am today.
Building a Business That Changes Lives
Today, my company, Creating Quantum Solutions, LLC, is more than just a business—it’s a mission. I help individuals:
-Fix their credit and regain financial independence.
-File their taxes properly and understand their financial responsibilities.
-Legally form their businesses and stay in compliance.
I do this because I know firsthand what it’s like to feel trapped by financial burdens and to think there’s no way out. But I also know that with the right education, resources, and support, people can rebuild their financial lives and create a stronger future for themselves and their families.
Looking Ahead: Growing & Giving Back
As I continue to grow Creating Quantum Solutions, I have big plans for the future. I want to expand my services, automate processes, and eventually open a storefront.
I also want to continue advocating for financial literacy, especially women and minorities. Helping others break generational cycles of financial instability is my passion, and I’m committed to making a difference.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Absolutely not—it has been far from a smooth road. Starting my business came with its share of challenges, doubts, and obstacles, but each struggle taught me valuable lessons that shaped me into the entrepreneur I am today.
One of the biggest challenges was transitioning from a corporate career to running my own business. In the corporate world, I had structure, stability, and a clear career path. But stepping into entrepreneurship meant I had to create my own structure, build my own systems, and take full responsibility for every success and failure.
Another challenge was overcoming my own self-doubt and shyness. When I first started, I knew I needed to network and build relationships, but I was naturally introverted and unsure of how to put myself out there. Joining Women Unlimited was a turning point for me. It helped me gain confidence, build relationships, and learn the power of surrounding myself with strong, like-minded women.
Financially, I also faced struggles—especially when I was going through a divorce while launching my business. I found myself dealing with credit card debt, financial instability, and the pressure of rebuilding my own financial foundation while trying to help others do the same. This experience made me even more passionate about teaching financial literacy and helping others overcome similar obstacles.
Another major hurdle was educating people about credit repair and financial services the right way. Many people have misconceptions about credit repair, thinking it’s a quick fix rather than a process that requires patience and discipline. I had to work hard to build trust, ensure transparency, and set realistic expectations for my clients.
Despite the challenges, every struggle has been a stepping stone to growth. I’ve learned to adapt, push past fear, and embrace the journey. The road has not been smooth, but it has been worth every lesson, every risk, and every breakthrough. And I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
