Today we’d like to introduce you to Lexlee Hudson
Hi Lexlee, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I am a single mama, and was desperately looking for a creative outlet that I can flourish in and give me some sense of identity outside of being a stay at home mom! I named my business Bloom In Grace because I have gone through many different seasons in my life and through it all have found the importance of blooming where you are planted while giving yourself the love and grace that we all deserve. I absolutely adore watching my clients dreams blossom into reality with the grace, love, and passion I bring to my work. God puts visions on my heart and I am passionate about watching them come to fruition ….my family has always thought I was over the top! BUT I took a leap of faith and here I am. I Love what I do, I love how I do it, and most of all…I love watching my Clients in awe on their special day! There is excellence in the details and I put my heart into every last one of them! Design is my passion and I handcraft everything that I do!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
As a newer business I will say I have been flourishing way better than I could have ever dreamt. I have been blessed with a consistent clientele. I of course, have had a few slow months and am always learning as I go but overall it has been very good! One thing I have found that I am currently adjusting to is time management as a single mom. Figuring out what works, what doesn’t work, how much prep time I need. etc. Thankfully I work best under pressure but it isn’t always easy with a two year old when I handcraft all my customizations and designs.

I love my clients, and I love what I do. I specialize in design and always go the extra mile to add in special customizations. I believe that the little details are what make or break an aesthetic and I will always go above and beyond. The effort I put into the smallest details truly set me apart. Whether that be a customized gift for a client, custom coffee sleeves for hot cocoa, a special glass for the guest of honor, or handmade gifts….I always make sure there are special custom pieces. Bloom In Grace is built on love and grace. When those things pair together truly shows in my work. I want readers to know the heart behind what I do. This is a love, a passion, and an art. Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I was raised in a Military Family. Majority of my childhood was spent living in Europe. I rode horses competitively, and also was a competition swimmer starting in 1st grade. Horses and showing was always my first love. My best friends would say that I lived a thousands lives. I have always been adventurous, a risk taker, and full of life. My motto is if it won’t kill me then why not? I have been like that my entire life. I would describe myself as outgoing, bubbly, and silly!
