Hi Irma, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’m a former public school teacher turned comedian. Not too many people know because I’m good at hiding it, but I’m slowly going blind.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a comedian! I finally got my picture on the Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club wall.
I produce the Teachers Gone Bad Comedy Show & Chingona Comedy show. I’m going to start planning a Chingona Convention soon. I had no idea I was a Chingona until pretty recently.
How do you think about happiness?
Laughter. It’s my drug. My meth. It’s addicting.
