Today we’d like to introduce you to Freddy Lopez
Hi Freddy, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I am a venezuelan adventurer , gratefull with this kind and amazing country for the different great opportunities and learning processes during all those years. I arrived directly to San Antonio practically 8 years ago. I was blessed to stay for a while in my fathers home while i started here, with just a bike that my father borrowed me to go to work, very early morning. I used to tie the bicicle to a tree and I was picked up by some friends to go to work on construction, furniture installation, moving , painting and more. One year later , I had the blessing to know a successful venezuelan woman Mildred Lopez, and i decided to join her team in this new adventure and become an insurance licensed agent( Medicare-Marketplace health insurance and life insurance ) parallel with these works and doing Uber-Lyft. So from 2019 to know I’ve been servicing and building a community client of more than 150 people , and that had been a blessing to help this people and learn and grow with successes and mistakes.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
For me it had been an interesting, challenging and beautiful road all these years here in San Antonio Texas. Building a community of clients it had been such an interesting adventure, with the language barriors sometimes, some normal rejections when you go to sell knocking doors, phone calls, in cold contacting etc. The 2020 with COVID 19 it was a big learning because push me to do different process , studying , learning on social media, Zoom app for the apointments when I was used to go the families homes. I loved it.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I service a community of client that I’ve been building in the last 6 years helping them to have peace of mind, improve their health, educating them , and protecting their legacy’s and family’s. Is an spiritual satisfaction.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Perseverance, spirit of service, dare to talk to unknown people, dare to talk a different language that is not mine but I love, be consistent, having empathy with people, and really listening and doing smart-important questions and be willing to learn and learn , and be curious .
