Meet Female Executives Of Texas of Female Executives of Texas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Female Executives Of Texas

Hi Female Executives of Texas, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Founded in 2018 by our leader Morgan Taplin, Female Executives of Texas began as a vision to create a space where Black and Brown women in business could feel supported, empowered, and celebrated. Morgan saw a gap in the resources and sisterhood available to women of color pursuing entrepreneurship and leadership, and she was determined to fill it. Over time, her vision grew into a thriving community built on our shared mantra: empower, educate, celebrate, and collaborate.

Each of us on the team has a unique journey that brought us here. From San Antonio to Dallas, we’ve walked different paths—some as entrepreneurs, others as professionals, but all united by a desire to see women of color rise. Despite our different stories, we came together with one mission: to create spaces where women can grow, thrive, and connect authentically.

It hasn’t been an easy road, but through resilience and teamwork, we’ve built something greater than ourselves. By embracing Morgan’s vision and adding our own strengths, we’ve become a team dedicated to ensuring that every woman who joins us knows she’s not alone. Together, we’ve turned a simple idea into a movement that uplifts and supports women of color throughout Texas. This isn’t just a mission for us—it’s our purpose. And we’re just getting started.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has been anything but smooth, but every challenge has shaped us into the team we are today. As Female Executives of Texas, we are deeply committed to pushing for diversity and inclusion for Black and Brown women, whether in the workplace, in business, or through educating our community. This mission is at the heart of everything we do, but it hasn’t come without its trials.

From low attendance at events to seasons of uncertainty with membership numbers, we’ve faced rocky times where it felt like our efforts weren’t reaching as far as we’d hoped. Yet, through it all, we’ve stayed true to our goal: to empower women of color in Texas. As a team, we tackle every challenge together, knowing that we’re stronger when we lean on each other.

We’ve also navigated the broader struggle of creating spaces where diversity and inclusion aren’t just buzzwords but lived values. Educating our community and advocating for Black and Brown women has required persistence, creativity, and sometimes having tough conversations. There have been moments where progress felt slow, but our vision has always kept us grounded.

Through every rocky season, we’ve learned, adapted, and grown stronger as a team. The trials we’ve faced have only deepened our commitment to our mantra: empower, educate, celebrate, collaborate. These words remind us why we started and fuel our drive to keep creating opportunities, building community, and ensuring that every woman of color in Texas has a space to thrive.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
