Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Texas Liquidation Outlet is a family-owned online auction in San Antonio TX. There is a total of 3 business partners in the business. We started the company back in February of 2024 and it all started with an idea from one of our partners, he had been buying from online auctions for a couple of years and decided to start our own. The initial process was quite difficult and at times impossible, but we remained faithful to Gods word and knew he was going to make it happen on his timing and everything would fall into place. It was mid-April when we signed our first lease that would only last 2 weeks due to an individual breaking into the warehouse and our landlord violating our contract. Everything seemed to be going wrong, and the start date kept getting pushed further out. By this time, we had already placed our first two truckload orders, so here we were, with no place and with all whole bunch of merchandise on the way. We immediately started seeking for a new place and a different business plan, remaining faithful that what God had for us was 2x better. We signed our second lease the first week of May and on June 16 with had our first successful auction. God has definitely been good to us in every area of the business from our amazing customers to our finances. Even though we are new business we hope to be inspiration to others that if God has brought us this far and has opened doors to new opportunities, he can do the same with you. We know God has brought us this far to make difference in the auction business by giving excellent customer service, make long lasting connections and to provide a trustworthy honest bidding process for all of our customers.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
As with anything worth doing, building your own business is not without its difficulties. The saying, “nothing good comes easy” also applies in the business world. As newbie entrepreneurs, there has been a few challenges we have had to face along the way, for example marketing challenges, attracting and retaining customers, managing growth and last but not least, adapting to constant change. Starting a business can be a daunting task, but with perseverance, creativity, and strategic planning, and most important God’s guidance it can definitely be done!
