Meet Daniel Martinez

Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Martinez.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Born in Temple, Texas, and raised by a single mother with my brother and me.

Then jumped to Texas city then landed in Houston, TX that’s where I spent most of my childhood at graduated from Waltrip high school. Honor society JROTC PLAYED baseball landed at Sam Houston state got into some trouble with the law then lost it all, left Houston to San Antonio just packed my stuff and left.

To start all over lost my apartment and my car. Was practically homeless jumping from friend’s house to house. Couldn’t rub two pennies together. Worked at cricket wireless as a manager for two stores on West Ave. & Vance Jackson.

I needed benefits so worked at Wells Fargo for a year then jumped to car sales at Lonestar dodge off of 35 south and Somerset they gave me a chance with my background I told General Manager at the time, Charlie Ramirez, whoever your top rep is I’m going to beat him every month I have too much to lose and if u give this opportunity I won’t fail you.

Then from there, the sky was the limit sold the first month on the job in 3 weeks I sold 27 cars I hold the record I believe with 36 cars sold in a month I wanted more so jumped to South way ford I literally found my niche in sales. Told the Gm there I’ll give 2 great years from a salesperson you have ever seen and I did that broke all the records won salesman of the year in 2018 & 2019 asked for finance for more pay didn’t get it.

Landed at LGI HOMES after that I made the jump and won rookie of the year was online for only 9 months closed 37 homes and we had a grand opening and, on that Saturday, alone I sold 22 homes.

Now, I’m a back-to-back sales master closing 100 homes in just 2 years and currently number 1 in the San Antonio market with homes closed and number 2 in the nation and going to hit 3 times sales master and looking to be a top 10 agent.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has when I left the car business I made a leap of faith and didn’t get a paycheck for 4 months ran through my savings I even had to pawn my TVs to feed my family was embarrassing but I had to do what I had to do for my 3 children.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in home ownership.

First home buyers/veterans and all the above change their addresses. I’m proud of my career because I allow families to achieve the dream of home ownership and start Investing and leave a legacy behind for their loved ones.

Sleepless nights talking to clients and realtors but definitely worth it when I had a family their keys to their new home and see their face light up and their children run into the home and pick their room and make carpet angels.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My family deserves all the credit and the lord. The lord allows me every morning to wake up and provide for my family and my family is my biggest Cheerleaders. They are my biggest fans they push me to sell.

Especially, my wife, she’s a reflection of me and more. Behind every successful man is an even more successful woman. I literally “WALK BY FAITH NOT BY SIGHT.”
