Hi Chalee, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My husband gave me the idea of being an entrepreneur in the cleaning industry. I always had a vision of owning a business but it had to be profitable, I searched for different businesses and weighed down some options. I still was too nervous to start this business journey alone.
I am used to working two jobs and having guaranteed money coming in, with a business you have to work twice as hard and do literally everything by yourself. As the pandemic hit layoffs begin to be the scare around the world. My husband is incarcerated and me to deal with the kids by myself was scary enough.
As my husband began to motivate me and tell me I can do anything and that all the business books he read he could walk me step by step through the cleaning business journey. He told me that we will learn together, make mistakes together, and win together. I started my LLC on 8/31/21 and started working on my first contract on 9/18/21.
I am on target to make six figures in my first year opening up my cleaning/disinfectant service. I owe it to my husband and faith for making this business become a success.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Struggles along the way have been adapting to different personalities from every hierarchy of the business chain. People feel scared of letting people come into their homes with Covid-19 being on the rise. How we worked through those bumps is offering disinfectant service for 3 hours or more.
With every negative, we learned how to turn it into a positive experience.

I am most proud of being so adaptive and making ways work when others would run away from the problem, I welcome it, and turn it into a learning experience. What sets me aside from others is my drive and dedication to running a successful business gracefully and ethically to where my kids, children can benefit from this continuous family business in generations to come.

That I run a full commercial cleaning business and still work my two jobs. I only get two hours of sleep a night and stay functional. I am on a mission to be retired by age 40, five years away from the goal and everything is on target.
