Today we’d like to introduce you to Bryce Carey.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started welding in High School and grew a passion for it! I always knew I wanted my own business but needed more experience in the industry. I got a job working for a fencing company in Tennessee. My family and I moved to Texas where I was a welder for a government facility, a pool company, a cleaning machine company, and lastly a piping company. I quit and started Custom Fabrication Ventures LLC with a simple goal: to provide high-quality, reliable welding and fabrication services that people could trust. I began working out of a small garage with just the essentials, doing mobile jobs wherever clients needed me. Those early days were all about learning the craft, building relationships, and understanding what it takes to run a business while staying hands-on in the field. Over time, through hard work, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering work the right way, the business grew into a fully equipped 1,000-square-foot shop in Bracken, Texas, while still offering mobile service for clients on-site. Today, we specialise in custom metalwork, structural steel, aluminium fabrication, and architectural pieces, serving homeowners, builders, companies, and contractors alike. The journey hasn’t been without challenges, but every step has taught me the importance of quality, reliability, and building a brand that clients can count on for exceptional results.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road hasn’t always been smooth, and that’s been part of what’s made this journey so valuable. Starting a welding and fabrication business from the ground up meant learning everything on the fly—balancing the challenges of running a business while also being in the field doing the work myself. There were times when projects didn’t go as planned, deadlines were tight, or unexpected obstacles popped up, but each challenge taught me how to problem-solve, adapt, and stay committed to quality no matter what. Those struggles reinforced the importance of preparation, clear communication, and building a team I can rely on. Looking back, it’s those tough moments that shaped our company, strengthened our processes, and ultimately set us apart in delivering reliable, high-quality work.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Custom Fabrication Ventures LLC?

As a brand, we stand for durability, precision, and trust—delivering finished products that reflect a higher standard of work and leave a lasting impression.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is that quality and reputation are everything, and they’re built long before the job is ever finished. In this industry, it’s not just about welding metal—it’s about showing up when you say you will, communicating clearly, pricing honestly, and standing behind your work. Cutting corners might save time in the moment, but it costs you in the long run. I’ve learned that doing things the right way, even when it’s harder or takes longer, is what earns trust and keeps clients coming back. That consistency, combined with a commitment to always improving our craft, has been the foundation for building a brand that people can rely on.
