Today we’d like to introduce you to Jaylynn Juelz.
Hi Jaylynn, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
Well, today, I am a plus-size fashion model, brand ambassador, and social media influencer. I’ve worked with companies like Fashion Nova, Coldest Water, Flat Tummy Co., 310 Nutrition, Versed Skincare, and recently PUMA… just to name a few.
Doing what I do, influencing, takes a lot of self-confidence… which I have never lacked but was always told to tone down… this is where I shine and I am blessed to be able to do what makes me so incredibly happy! I use my story to encourage other women and especially young girls.
I truly believe every”body” is beautiful and never let what others think to intimidate or dim your light.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Social media can be rough. Someone always has something to say and unfortunately, it’s usually negative. It can take a mental toll sometimes but that’s when I have to remember that this is my life.
I dictate my happiness. So no negative comments affect me unless I let it… which I refuse to!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My confidence is what makes me shine. My intelligence and wit are what make people want to follow me. I’m always doing something entertaining or funny and I get to showcase my different personalities.
My smile is welcoming and lets people know, that this is a safe place. I listen and interact with my followers. Something a lot of other influencers don’t do.
How can people work with you, collaborate with you, or support you?
I am signed to a modeling agency and most of my collaborations go thru them but I’m always up for branching out and making new “friends” in the industry.
I am hoping to collaborate more locally… I love my city! I was born and raised here and I believe San Antonio has a lot to offer and is often overlooked compared to the bigger cities like Houston or Dallas.
So I strive to showcase what San Antonio is all about.
