Hi Gabe, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Eztilo is a Tejano band that has built a reputation for playing live. They are in the Tejano music genre, which is a new age, not typical Tejano, that combines multiple genres ranging from classic Tejano to reggaeton to new age. They started 6 years ago in Uvalde and have released original and cover songs. Every year has been better than the previous.
Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been a tough road, but the core originals have stayed together. Even though covid and losing members have hurt, they have maintained steady growth.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Eztilo is a touring band with regulars gigs and is known for being a great live band with talented musicians. We are proud of being one of the best live bands and have opened and played with the top artist in the Tejano genre.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
The original band members went to school and graduated together but got together after high school.
