Life & Work with Christian Lopez-Cordova of San Antonio

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christian Lopez-Cordova.

Hi Christian, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Christian Lopez-Cordova is a San Antonio-based entrepreneur, videographer, and dedicated servant of Christ whose professional and personal journey is deeply rooted in faith, resilience, and a desire to serve others. Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Christian experienced a profound life transformation in 2020. Overcoming a challenging background marked by a broken home and personal struggles with addiction, he found spiritual healing and purpose through his Christian faith, alongside meeting his wife. Since then, he has planted his roots in San Antonio, Texas, where he integrates his faith into his business ventures and community involvement.
Christian is the owner of two distinct businesses. His primary venture is LightHouse Studios, a video production company that also offers photography and social media management services. The mission of LightHouse Studios extends beyond standard media production; Christian views his work through a unique lens, aiming to help individuals and businesses tell their stories and see their God-given potential. He believes that video is the most effective medium for businesses to engage their audience and expand their influence [1]. In addition to his media company, Christian also owns and operates a junk removal business, showcasing his diverse entrepreneurial spirit [1].Beyond his business endeavors, Christian is actively involved in the local community and ministry. He is a part of multiple local community churches and runs his own evangelical ministry called “Along The Way”. He also serves as an intern for Faithful Fishers and hosts a podcast where he shares people’s stories to glorify God. His approach to business is heavily relationship-based, with a majority of his clientele coming from returning customers and referrals, a testament to his focus on excellent customer service and care [1]. By surrounding himself with established industry professionals and remaining open to constructive criticism, Christian continues to grow and scale his businesses while remaining true to his core mission of helping others find their voice and tell their story.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The biggest challenge was re teaching myself how to be a human again. Coming from brokeness to the fullness of Christ is always challenging, but it’s worth it. From a buisness aspect, moving to a completly new city and building my brand and book of buisness was tough. There were moments of strife and doubt, but God watched over me. Since then, my buisness has flourished and it brings me joy to be able to capture people through video and photography.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in video testimonials and an emerging photographer. I’m proud of all my work, because I’m able to show others how God sees them through the lens. Once people know who they are in Christ Jesus, they have the potential to do anything they set their minds to.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I love all the subculture that is in my city. The thing I dislike about it, is the lack of collaboration.
