Today we’d like to introduce you to Chrissy.
Hi Chrissy, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Opened in September 2004, and our first recital was in July 2005.
We’ve in the same location for 22 years and just celebrated our 22nd annual recital!
My oldest was only 1 year old and now I have 3 children. 23 years old, 19 years old and almost 16 years old. Watching my children grow up with the studio families is an amazing experience and an honor that I don’t take lightly.
We’ve expanded over the last 22 years in the same location. I’m so grateful for the San Antonio dance community and the love and support we have for one another. Most of us talk and help each other out all the time!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s been a lot of ups and downs over the last 22 years. Many of them, including Covid and faculty changes, but we have always been a staple for the San Antonio community and a safe space for children to dance and call a second home.
We continue to provide quality training for San Antonio, Helotes and the surrounding areas for families.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I think we are best known for having something for everybody. Starting dancers at two years old and going all the way through seniors in high school. We offer a well known recreational program all the way through amazing and national champion competitive programs! I’m most proud of having a place for dancers who grew up here and are now bringing their own children back to dance. Young adults coming back to visit make me so happy!
And we have 3 systems of competitive programs for everyone to find the right fit; Performance Team, Convention Crew, and Commercial Training Program.

Be ready to make hard decisions. It can be lonely but the right people will find their way to you.
