Hi Valerie, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Two and a half years ago, I made one of the most important decisions of my life: I chose sobriety. It wasn’t just about giving up alcohol—it was about reclaiming my life and rediscovering who I was and my purpose.
Beyond getting sober, I felt a powerful call to do something more. I didn’t want others to feel like they had to sacrifice connection, enjoyment, or fulfillment. So, I set out to explore and curate a non-alcoholic drink shop. We are offering people choices that align with their values, whether they’re sober curious, in recovery, or simply seeking a healthier lifestyle. Our menu goes beyond just being non-alcoholic but we take ingredients seriously. We chose beverages that are free of artificial dyes, flavorings, low sugars, and carcinogenic preservatives. I’m passionate about educating others on how to redefine socializing and drinking culture, one purposeful drink at a time.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Our biggest challenge has been breaking the stigma and the community to be open to the alternatives of alcohol. Our customers are mostly 21 or older, where alcohol has been the default option. Convincing people to embrace non-alcoholic alternatives can be tough, and on top of that adding hemp infused. We have learned education and samples have been the best approach to show our community purposeful drinks are here!
We’ve been impressed with Les Launch Beverages , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Through sharing my own story with the community, I have realized this is much more than a business for me, it is a true passion and healing process. I have the passion for others to experience or try something new beyond their normal routine. This year we are venturing out into different venues and activities. My healing process has allowed me to truly explore to find what I truly need in my life. I used to think happiness was long happy hours, late nights,and “making it big”. Today I love rising by 7am, in bed early, enjoying nature, and finding the beauty in the small things around me.
I had been previously dealing with gut issues since COVID. Once I removed alcohol from my body I started to evaluate and remove all of the ingredients that are possible poison . Sobriety allowed me to be able to be more precise in what would negatively affect my body and mind and learn how to nourish and heal organic resources. Ingredients matter.
