Today we’d like to introduce you to Telelingo, LLC.
Hi Telelingo, LLC, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Telelingo was born out of a clear need we saw as bilingual speech-language pathologists: back in 2023, we couldn’t find any fully Spanish, high-quality educational content that was both developmentally appropriate and created by professionals—nothing we felt confident recommending to the families we served, or even for Brenda to use with her own daughter.
We created Telelingo to fill that gap, a platform offering Spanish immersion videos that support early language development and are grounded in evidence-based practices. Each episode is intentionally designed, drawing from our clinical expertise and understanding of how young children learn best. We incorporate speech strategies, early childhood education principles, and culturally responsive content to support families raising bilingual children.
What began with YouTube videos has since expanded to include in-person language enrichment programs, community events, professional workshops for educators and caregivers, and digital resources. We’re a small, dedicated team with a clear mission: to provide expert-backed, accessible tools for bilingual development.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
One of our biggest challenges early on was simply putting ourselves out there. As speech-language pathologists, we were used to working directly with families—not being in front of a camera. Filming ourselves and sharing that content publicly was a vulnerable shift, but we pushed through those nerves because we knew the need was—and still is—too great to ignore.
There’s also been a steep learning curve. We didn’t go to school for filming, editing, marketing, or business management, but we’ve had to take on all of it to bring Telelingo to life. Wearing so many hats as both clinicians and creatives has stretched us in ways we never expected. Along the way, we’ve leaned on mentors, friends, and fellow creators, and their support has made a huge difference.
Luckily, we’re now beginning to grow our team, which has allowed us to focus more on what we do best—creating content that supports bilingual families and builds a strong foundation for language development.
As you know, we’re big fans of Telelingo, LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Telelingo is a bilingual education platform led by two bilingual speech-language pathologists with a passion for early language development and cultural connection. We specialize in Spanish immersion content for young children, combining our clinical expertise with engaging visuals, playful characters, and evidence-based speech and language strategies that support how children naturally learn to communicate.
We’re best known for our fully Spanish YouTube videos, which introduce early concepts like shapes, colors, functional vocabulary, and social-emotional skills—all while celebrating cultural identity. What sets us apart is our commitment to quality: everything we create is developmentally appropriate, inclusive, and grounded in research.
Beyond our digital resources, we now offer in-person language enrichment programs, live community events, and professional workshops for caregivers and educators—all designed to empower families raising bilingual children.
What we’re most proud of is the incredible community that we have built through Telelingo. We hear from families every week about how their children are not only enjoying the show but learning from it. Many parents share that they’re picking up Spanish themselves and using our strategies in everyday moments. Knowing that we’re making a real impact in families’ lives is what keeps us going.
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
One of the things we love most about San Antonio is its strong sense of community and cultural pride. There’s a deep appreciation for heritage here, and it shows up in everything—from the language we hear in everyday conversations to the vibrant local events, art, and food. As bilingual professionals, we really value how San Antonio embraces cultural diversity and creates space for families to stay connected to their roots.
If there’s one thing we wish were different, it’s access to more early childhood resources in Spanish. While there are dedicated educators and families doing amazing work, there’s still a need for more support—especially in communities that have fewer resources. That gap is part of what drives us at Telelingo: we want to make sure that all families, in San Antonio and beyond, have access to free high-quality, culturally responsive tools that support bilingual development.
