Founding: The practice was established in 2023 with the goal of providing comprehensive care that goes beyond traditional medicine. It’s led by Dr. Majid Atique, who brought experience from institutions like Baylor Scott and White Hospital into the practice. Dr Majid Atique is board certified in Internal Medicine as well as Obesity Medicine.
Over time the practice built out a dual identity — rooted in core internal medicine, offering preventive care, chronic disease management (diabetes, hypertension, respiratory and heart conditions), and treatment for common illnesses — while developing a specialized side in obesity medicine, taking a compassionate and scientifically rigorous approach that focuses on understanding the root causes of weight gain for each patient.
Today: The practice has since expanded its service lines to include FibroScan liver health assessments, sleep medicine and sleep disorder management, and testosterone replacement therapy for hormone optimization, alongside its core internal medicine and obesity medicine.

The practice moved to a new, permanent location at 741 Generations Dr., Ste 205, bringing on new providers. The practice plans to open a location in North east San Antonio at 7323 N. Loop 1604 E., Bldg. 1, San Antonio, Texas, 78233
