Hi Tisha, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, how can you bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I embarked on my journey in the Travel Industry more than two decades ago while still in college. Having served in the United States Army, I was well accustomed to traveling and thrilled to be doing so as a student. Upon joining my sorority, I started organizing trips, and it soon became apparent that I could make a decent income by assisting people in their pursuit of exploring the globe. My zeal for discovering new cultures and savoring diverse cuisines culminated in a signature offering of thrilling global adventures. I have since been certified as a Designated Luxury Travel Agency by the Travel Institute. I am now focused on providing my patron’s superior amenities and one-of-a-kind experiences. I specialize in cruises, with myself alone taking five in a single year and showing customers how to achieve an unparalleled level of luxury for their voyages with friends and family. Mexico is my favorite destination to book, yet I am considering bringing more clients to Asia and the UAE. Furthermore, in the past few years, I have begun to mentor and coach independent agents in growing and thriving with their enterprises. As such, I have just initiated the Platinum Elites Business Coaching Program. This venture aims to aid current and prospective agents in attaining their personal and professional goals in the business world. Ultimately, I want to assist my clients in gaining insight into the many different cultures of the world through a combination of lavish, unique, and enlightening experiences.
Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Has it been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Despite managing a business while also undertaking my undergraduate and graduate studies, alongside full-time employment, it wasn’t easy to keep on top of time management. As a result, there were times I had to shelve my business activities to prioritize my Masters’s Degree. Sadly, I couldn’t do the live training in the attractive destinations I’d hoped for, yet I managed to educate and train myself by leveraging my global contacts and networking.

Visualizing myself in my client’s shoes as we have conversed helps me develop amazing trips they will adore. Whether it be Honeymoons, Graduations, Birthdays, Divorces, and more, my ultimate aim is to make sure all their traveling needs and leisure activities are taken care of so they can arrive and savor the special moment without a hitch.
