Hidden Gems: Meet Sarah Komet of Malouff International Group

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Komet

Hi Sarah, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
While technically I wasn’t born in Texas, I have been here since I was 6 months old, so I do consider myself a texan. Coming from a family where both of my parents are entrepreneurs, I too have the natural drive & energy of someone in the same realm. My father has always been in the real estate world, whether it be investing or developing, which is probably where I get a lot of my interest in real estate from however my true interest is helping people & having a direct impact on people. After high school I attended college for a couple of years when one day I realized there was nothing I was truly passionate about what I was learning in school. If you know me you know I am an incredibly passionate person and I love helping people & customer service in general. So after 6 years of working in the service industry I decided to pursue a career in real estate & have been helping people in a. way that truly fills my cup every single day. I became a realtor at the age of 21 & started off as a top producing agents assistant for about a year before taking the leap into being a full time agent. over the next 4 years I navigated being a solo agent while figuring out which brokerage felt like home. In 2019 I was recruited to Malouff international group, which is the number one team at the number one Keller Williams in the world. Since then I have become & stayed their top producing agent for the last 4 years, I have a team of 4 agents within the team that I mentor & I have sold over 200 houses & over $55 Million in real estate over the last 10 years. I pride myself in providing a high level of customer service & communication, as well as being a resource for my clients whether it be real estate related or not. Honesty & integrity along with determination & dedication are all aspects that are very important to me.. In my free time I enjoy outdoor activities, trying new restaurants, spending time with my 2 dogs, meeting new people and traveling.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Getting into real estate at 21 years old had me facing many challenges. I had to prove to people older than me I was capable of helping them with the biggest transaction of their lives, I was navigating becoming an adult myself as well as being an entrepreneur. So it definitely had its challenges. I also seen the firs 5 years of my real estate career navigating where I wanted to be as far as what brokerage & if I wanted to be an agent on a team or a solo agent. Building a career in anything is challenging however building a career in your early 20’s as a realtor really helped make me into the person I am today.

We’ve been impressed with Malouff International Group, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The team of realtors I work with is Malouff international group. We are the #1 team in our brokerage out of 1,100 agents and our brokerage is the number one Keller Willams in the world. We’ve sold as a team over 3000 homes in the last 9 years. I personally have been the top producing agent since going the team in 2019 averaging about 30-40 homes sold a year. Giving back to the community is also very important to our team, so we have several events through ought the year like a backpack & school supplies giveaway as well as a turkey giveaway & a thing called ” single mothers Monday” where we sponsor a local single mother & help her out financially & with necessities for the family. We also have an in house property management company that manages long & short term rentals. What sets me apart from others is my ability to really connect with people & how much I care about people. When I help someone buy or sell a home they aren’t just a client they turn into a friend & someone that I maintain contact with & stay active in their lives. I have the ability connect with people in all walks of life & I look for opportunities to help people any chance I get. I specialize in helping first time home buyers & clients that are looking to sell & purchase a new home whether they are looking to upsize or downsize. However I can help with anything real estate related, whether it’s buying or selling land, building an investment portfolio or even developing land. I also pride myself in the ability to really help buyers & sellers understand the home buying or selling process beginning to end and what to expect time wise & financially so that they are making an educated decision.

Any big plans?
My plans for the future are to continue building my real estate business, mentoring the 4 agents I mentor into top producing agents and continuing to build my real estate investment portfolio so that I own at least 10 home s by the time I’m 40. My goal is by the age of 40 to still be doing some real estate however I would like to transition to coaching for other agents as well. I do also have a goal of owning a bed and breakfast somewhere in the mountains one day and would ideally like to be able to travel quite a bit in my 40’s & 50’s.
