Hi Grecia, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
The Bikini Shop started when the designer of Grecia Swim wanted to give her brand a home. In the middle of opening this shop, the idea of providing the opportunity for independent designers a place to showcase their work was born. The Bikini Shop is a place where everyone is welcome!
So each month, we will select a new designer to display their brand at the shop and create a space for them and their customers. We want to build the fashion community by coming together and creating a space for swimwear designers here.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Opening this storefront requires much more than launching my brand online. Don’t get me wrong, both have had their challenges, but this has tested my knowledge in business, but I’m learning as I go, and I love the ride.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Once a month, we select a new designer to allow them to showcase their swimwear designs. Designers can fill out an application using the link in our Instagram bio.
They will be prompted with questions to help us understand the designer and brand deeper. We seek that chic brand that brings versatility to the store and aligns with the luxury shopping experience offered at The Bikini Shop.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was a creative young girl and opinionated, and I still am. However, now I have a platform where my opinions matter, and I use my creative side to design my beautiful swimwear.
My interests were always around fashion or business, and now I get to combine both of those things and create opportunities for others.
