Hi Cori Ross and Alonso Aguilar, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Ember Aesthetics really came from the two of us wanting to create something of our own. We both came into aesthetics from different backgrounds, but we share a lot of the same ideas about how we want people to feel when they come to see us. We wanted a space that felt comfortable and welcoming, where people could ask questions, get honest recommendations, and never feel pressured into doing something they don’t need.
After working in the industry and building relationships with clients and patients over the years, the opportunity came for us to take a chance and build that space ourselves. That’s how Ember was born.
We opened in June 2026, so we’re still very new and figuring things out as we go! It has definitely been a learning experience building a business from the ground up, but it’s also been incredibly rewarding. We’ve been able to combine our different strengths and offer everything from skincare and advanced treatments to injectables, PRF and wellness services.
More than anything, we want Ember to be a place where people feel comfortable being themselves. We love aesthetics, but we don’t think it should be about changing the way someone looks or chasing perfection. We want to help people take care of themselves, feel confident, and still look and feel like themselves. We’re really excited to see where Ember goes from here.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely not a completely smooth road! We both had experience in aesthetics, but owning and building a business is an entirely different experience. There were so many things happening behind the scenes that we had never really had to think about before finding the right space, licensing, permits, insurance, medical oversight, vendors, systems, supplies, marketing, and all of the little details that come with opening a medical aesthetics practice.
We also had a pretty short timeline from deciding we were going to do this to actually opening our doors, so there was definitely a lot of figuring things out as we went. And now that we’re open, one of the biggest challenges has been learning the business side while still giving our clients and patients the level of care and attention we want them to have.
There are also the normal ups and downs that come with starting something new. Some days are busy and exciting, and other days have you questioning whether you’re doing enough. We’ve had to remind ourselves that building a loyal client base and a sustainable business takes time.
But I think those challenges have also made us appreciate Ember even more. Every new client, returning client, referral, and little milestone feels meaningful because we know how much went into getting here. We’re learning constantly, and we’re really proud of what we’ve been able to build so far!

Ember Aesthetics is a boutique medical aesthetics practice focused on personalized, results-driven care. We offer advanced skincare treatments, injectables, regenerative treatments, and wellness services, but what sets us apart is the experience we create for our clients.
We never want someone to feel like just another appointment or like they’re being sold something they don’t need. We take the time to listen, educate, and create treatment plans based on each person’s individual goals. We’re proud that Ember feels elevated and professional while still being comfortable, approachable, and genuinely personal. Our goal is always for our clients to feel cared for, confident, and still like themselves.
What’s next?
Right now, we’re focused on continuing to grow Ember, expanding into a larger space, and building something that people genuinely enjoy coming to. We’d love to continue adding services as we grow, but we also want to be intentional and not rush the process. We’re excited to see where Ember takes us!
