Today we’d like to introduce you to Raul Perez.
Hi Raul, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
In the summer of 1995, I was playing in a band, wanted merch, so I figured out how to make it. Got kinda good at it and started making stuff for other people. It slowly evolved into a side hustle off and on for some years. In 2013 I left my last job and figured I’d try it alone. I hired my first employee in march of 2013, grew out of my first building in 8 months and got our current location. We are now 15 employees strong and thriving. Organic growth is key! I don’t know how to run a business, we just know how to make your shirts look really cool!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
March 2020, covid hit. Fiesta events were getting cancelled and people were needing refunds. It hit us hard. Making deals with bands and local bars and businesses to sell masks and shirts kept us busy enough to make it through

WE HAVE BUILT THIS NAME UP NOT BY BEING THE CHEAPEST BUT BY TRYING TO BE THE BEST AND EASIEST TO WORK WITH
Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
I HAVE COUNTLESS MEMORIES THAT ARE ALL GREAT. THE MAJORITY OF THEM REVOLVE AROUND MY COUSINS, SKATEBOARDS, GUITARS AND RECORD COLLECTING
