Today we’d like to introduce you to Ivan Nguyen. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Ivan was first came to the States from Vietnam in 2007. He went to the University of Connecticut and obtained his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineer in 2015. He has passion about tea since he was a little kid. He noticed that are not many bubble tea in the States. In 2019, he decided to open his own bubble tea shop called Boss Tea to offer the customers more choice. Since then, Boss Tea opened in Oklahoma, Washington, Texas, and Colorado. Ivan continues to improve the drinks to best serve his customers around the States.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
In 2019, Boss Tea was started as a local business in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Despite the covid-19 pandemic, the customers love us so much that they brought their friends and family from out of state to try our drinks. We started to get recognized from out of state customers. They keep asking us to open more shops around the states. We decided to let our customers to franchise our brand so that customers from other states can enjoy our drinks.
