Exploring Life & Business with Henri G. And Tanesha L. Bokally of Urbanetectonics, LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Henri G. And Tanesha L. Bokally.

Hi Henri G. and Tanesha L., thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
From a humble loft in Georgia to a power-player in the Texas Hill Country, Henri and Tanesha Bokally are proving that the strongest foundations are built on a legacy of faith, family, and precision.

Every great enterprise has a “garage story.” For Urbanetectonics, LLC, that story began in a Marietta loft, eventually migrating to a repurposed coat closet in Sandy Springs. It was in these compact, high-pressure spaces that founders Henri and Tanesha Bokally refined their approach to Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and project management. Now a decade of establishing our “forever home” in Cibolo, Texas, we are gaining visibility beyond the San Antonio business community because of this sophisticated, multi-industry infrastructure.

A Legacy of Excellence

The tenacity behind Urbanetectonics, LLC isn’t just business—it’s biological. Tanesha credits her grandmother’s leadership and land ownership as the blueprint for her intuitive AEC industry sense. Henri, a seasoned engineer, draws from a lineage where science, math, and civic duty were the family trade. Together, they have spent two decades building a firm that mirrors their own journey: resilient, adaptable, and deeply rooted in community.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
For us, entrepreneurship offers unmatched joy, but we know it’s a roller coaster of hard-won lessons. We fully embrace this reality, recognizing that the entrepreneurial lifestyle is fraught with challenges. To navigate these unknowns, we have learned to draw on our experiences, integrate them into our unique story, and treat them as valuable assets.

Central to our approach is maintaining good counsel, good company, and good clients. We actively share our journey with other founders to foster a supportive environment where we can learn from one another.

We’ve been impressed with Urbanetectonics, LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Engineered for Longevity: The Nexus of Management Excellence

The “Engineered for Longevity” Philosophy

In an era of market volatility, Urbanetectonics, LLC stands out by shifting the focus from short-term wins to long-term survival. Celebrating our 20th anniversary in 2024, the firm solidified its core theme: Engineered for Longevity.

“We don’t just manage projects; we engineer solutions that withstand technological shifts and economic cycles,” says Tanesha. This approach is anchored by two strategic pillars:

Horizontal Management: Providing a single point of contact across 12 different industries—from Education, Construction to Multimedia and Workforce Development.

Vertical Integration: Maintaining absolute control over every stage of a project lifecycle. By keeping the planning, execution, and analysis in-house, the client’s original vision is never lost in translation.

Data-Driven Leadership: The Nexus Report

For San Antonio’s fast-growing business sector, Urbanetectonics, LLC offers a unique competitive edge: The Nexus Report. This quarterly publication serves as the firm’s “intelligence hub.” Developed in collaboration with established risk centers, the report provides local leaders with evidence-based data to navigate “integrated risk management.” It bridges the gap between academic research and on-the-ground implementation, allowing our clients to make informed, future-proof decisions.

Urbanetectonics, LLC is More Than a Firm—A Community Partner

Beyond the balance sheets, the Bokallys are champions of workforce development. Having hosted students and adults in training programs for years, they believe in lifting the local economy by empowering its people.

When we aren’t “engineering longevity” for our clients, Henri and Tanesha are embracing the “empty-nester” life—traveling, playing soccer, and staying active in the community. Our message to fellow founders is simple: the entrepreneurial road is a roller coaster, but with good counsel, good clients, keeping good company, and a focus on longevity, the view from the top is worth the climb.
