Hello, I’m a recent graduate from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a major in multidisciplinary studies and a minor in kinesiology, aligning well with my passion for fitness and sports.
Soccer was a huge part of my life—playing, watching games, and chatting about it with friends. Something about the sport always drew me in. At 17, I started coaching in recreational leagues, and that’s when everything clicked for me. Watching players grow and improve in all aspects of the game was incredibly rewarding. To become a better coach, I decided to get a coaching license from the U.S. Soccer Federation. I started with the grassroots license and quickly moved to the D and C licenses. Being in an environment where I could learn and enhance my leadership skills was crucial for my development. I didn’t want to miss any chances to get better. Along the way, I had some fantastic mentors who helped me become a better leader. Now, I try to share what I’ve learned with my players to help them on and off the field. I believe in constantly learning and growing. Every coaching opportunity allows me to improve how I teach and communicate. My environment for my players is important, so I focus on making it positive and encouraging. Overall, my coaching journey is a story of hard work, continuous learning, and a passion for helping my players develop their soccer and important life skills. In the summer of 2022, I took a big step and started a youth soccer club called Efficient Soccer Club. In just one year, Efficient Soccer Club has achieved remarkable success. Starting with only one team of seven players, we quickly grew through word of mouth and a reputation for improving players. Now, with 45 players and counting, our club has become one of San Antonio’s highest-rated in the city. Efficient Soccer Club has emerged as a powerhouse in just a year, clinching championship titles in two competitive indoor leagues. These victories have ignited our passion and fueled our determination to achieve even greater success in the future. Our unwavering commitment to excellence and player development remains at the core of our identity, propelling our club’s rapid growth and success.

My biggest challenge was managing my time effectively. Balancing commitments with the University of San Antonio as a full-time student, I pursued and earned my bachelor’s degree in Multidisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Kinesiology, Political Science, and History. Simultaneously, I had responsibilities with the U.S. Soccer Federation, navigating their demanding courses. Amidst all this, I was fully engaged in running a growing youth soccer club. Juggling full-time school, university commitments, and the continuous expansion of the soccer club presented ongoing demands. This period was intense, requiring careful planning and dedication. Despite the challenges, the experience taught me valuable time management and resilience lessons, shaping my academic and soccer coaching journey. Now that I’ve earned my bachelor’s degree and acquired my current license under the U.S. Soccer Federation, I find myself with more time to dedicate to the ongoing growth of the soccer club—a passion that has been with me from the start. The attainment of my academic goals and coaching qualifications allows me to channel my energy and commitment into nurturing and expanding the club further. This exciting phase opens up new possibilities, and I am eager to continue fostering the development of the players and the club.

I’m the founder of our soccer club, and I take on various roles, such as coaching, coordinating, building our website, and managing all our social media platforms.
