Today we’d like to introduce you to Bri Logue.
Hi Bri, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
About nine years ago, I started my business after realizing I wanted more control over my time and the kind of work I was doing. What began as building websites and helping businesses with marketing gradually evolved into something much bigger.
As technology changed, so did we. We started building custom CRMs, automations, AI-powered tools, websites, and client portals that help businesses simplify their operations and create a better experience for both their teams and their customers.
Along the way, my husband and I moved to San Antonio, built our business together, and have had the opportunity to work with clients across many different industries. One thing has stayed the same through all of it: I genuinely enjoy solving problems and building systems that make people’s lives easier.
Today, I co-own CRM Plug, where we focus on creating custom AI-powered business systems rather than one-size-fits-all solutions. Every project is different, and that’s one of the things I love most. I’m always learning, always building, and excited to see where this next chapter of AI and automation takes us.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, and I don’t think I’d want to pretend it was.
One of our biggest challenges was learning how to work together. When Ky and I first started, we had very different ideas about how to run a business. We had different communication styles, different priorities, and different ways of approaching problems. That led to some frustrating conversations early on because we were both trying to build the same thing, just from different perspectives.
Over time, we realized we didn’t need to think the same, we needed to understand each other’s strengths. Once we found our groove and started dividing responsibilities based on what each of us does best, everything changed. Instead of getting in each other’s way, we started complementing each other.
We’ve also had to adapt as the business evolved. We started with marketing and websites, then moved into CRMs, automation, and now AI-powered systems. Every new chapter has meant learning new skills and being willing to change.
Looking back, the struggles were some of our biggest teachers. They pushed us to communicate better, stay flexible, and build a business that’s much stronger today than it was when we started.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
At CRM Plug, we build custom AI-powered business systems that help companies simplify the way they operate. While many businesses offer a standard CRM, we believe every business is different, so we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions.
We specialize in custom CRM development, AI-powered automations, client portals, websites, reporting dashboards, and workflow optimization. Our goal is to eliminate repetitive tasks, improve communication, and give business owners more time to focus on growing their business.
What sets us apart is that we don’t just build software, we take the time to understand how a business actually operates before we build anything. Every workflow, automation, and dashboard is designed around the client’s processes, team, and goals. Technology should fit the business, not force the business to fit the technology.
One thing I’m especially proud of is how we’ve evolved over the years. We started as a marketing and CRM company serving real estate investors, but as AI and automation became more powerful, we expanded into building custom applications and business systems for companies across many different industries. Watching our clients save time, become more organized, and genuinely enjoy using the tools we’ve built for them has been incredibly rewarding.
Above all, we want people to know that we’re long-term partners, not just software providers. We love solving problems, building systems that make a real impact, and helping businesses grow with technology that feels intuitive rather than overwhelming.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
One thing that surprises people is that I don’t have a traditional software development background. As our business evolved into building custom apps and AI-powered systems, I became fascinated with how everything worked behind the scenes.
I taught myself how to read code, not because I wanted to become a full-time developer, but because I wanted to better understand what we were building and solve problems more effectively. Today, I can troubleshoot issues, understand APIs, read documentation, and work alongside developers and AI tools to bring ideas to life.
Another thing people are often surprised by is that I consider myself very creative, but not in the traditional sense. I’m not the person sketching or painting. My creativity comes from solving problems, designing workflows, building systems, and figuring out how to take a complicated idea and turn it into something simple and intuitive. Whether it’s mapping out a customer journey, creating an automation, or designing a custom app, that’s where I feel most creative.
I think those two things: curiosity and creative problem-solving, have shaped both my career and the way I approach every project.
