Certainly! My story unfolds with a deep-rooted passion for beauty that started in high school, a journey momentarily paused by the joys and challenges of becoming a military wife and a mother to four incredible children. This chapter of life led me through a mosaic of experiences across various cities, from Houston to Colorado Springs, each move weaving a richer tapestry of life lessons and memories. As our family grew, complete with two pugs, a King Charles, two cats, chickens, and a gecko, so did my longing to return to my first love—beauty. I have been married for 21 wonderful years and have four kids, ages 12-20; my life has been a beautiful blend of love, learning, and adaptation. Once our youngest child reached school age, I seized the opportunity to return to beauty school in Colorado Springs. Graduating at the precipice of the pandemic, I stood at a crossroads where many might have paused, yet I chose to leap, launching my business amidst global uncertainty. This decision wasn’t just about chasing a dream; it was a testament to resilience, a beacon for my children, and a step towards empowering other women. Returning to Texas marked a geographical shift and a pivotal point in my professional journey. Here, I continued to nurture my business, a sanctuary where beauty extends beyond the superficial, aiming to uplift and build confidence in women. It’s a place where each lash extension is a brush stroke in a masterpiece of self-esteem and empowerment, reflecting the inner beauty that I believe is the true essence of allure. Today, my goal transcends the boundaries of conventional beauty standards. It’s about crafting personalized experiences that resonate with the soul, fostering an environment where women can feel genuinely confident and beautiful. My journey from a high school enthusiast to a business owner amidst a pandemic encapsulates the essence of perseverance, family values, and the relentless pursuit of passion. With each client that walks out of my salon feeling more confident, I’m reminded of the power of beauty to transform not just appearances but lives.
Please talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned. Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has not been smooth, with challenges including balancing family life as a military wife and mother, relocating often, and returning to school with four children. Starting a business during the pandemic added layers of complexity, from navigating uncertain economic conditions to adapting to changing health regulations. Like many small business owners, I’ve needed help struggling to build a clientele, manage finances, and stand out in a competitive market. Each obstacle has been a learning opportunity, shaping the resilience and adaptability that define my personal and professional life.

My business focuses on lash extension services, facials, lash lifts and tints, brow services, which include laminations and henna tinting, and facial waxing, aiming to enhance natural beauty and boost clients’ confidence. Specializing in high-quality lash extensions and emphasizing a personalized approach sets me apart. I’m proud of creating a welcoming environment where clients feel valued beyond just the services offered, focusing on their overall experience and satisfaction. My goal is to ensure every client leaves feeling more beautiful and confident.
What would you say has been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is the value of resilience. Starting and nurturing a business, primarily through unpredictable challenges like a global pandemic, requires adapting, persisting, and maintaining a positive outlook. Balancing the demands of family life, frequent relocations, and professional growth has taught me the significance of flexibility and strength in facing adversity with determination. This resilience has been crucial in overcoming obstacles and building a brand that reflects my commitment to empowering and uplifting others.
