Today we’d like to introduce you to Nathan and Taylor Salgado.
Hi Nathan and Taylor, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
We started our business in January of 2020 when my husband (Nathan) lost his job unexpectedly. He came to me and told me he would like to start a Auto Detailing business and I (Taylor) thought he was crazy and was very skeptical. Eventually I agreed and later that day we came up with our name Fresh Start Detailers , created our logo and hit the ground running!
Fast forward two years and we have now expanded our company and now specialize in premium auto detailing as well as other services such as mobile paint correction,auto body paint chip repair, professional furniture and carpet cleaning and even residential & commercial cleaning! It’s been a crazy ride so far but we couldn’t be more grateful for our growth and the support we have received from our community.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
We started our company only a few months before Covid started. Of course we weren’t aware of it at the time but once the stay at home order was released our growing company had to come to a halt. Many were apprehensive about mobile services at that unprecedented time. We ensured our customers safety by protocols we put in between each service but it was bumpy for sure.
I think there’s almost always going to be bumps in the road and growing from it is the most important thing you can do.

Definitely! We are a mobile service that services San Antonio & surrounding areas. We specialize in premium auto detailing, mobile paint correction and professionally cleaning furniture and carpets in your home . In the past year we also started providing residential and commercial cleaning!
What sets Fresh Start Detailers apart from the rest is we genuinely care about our customers experience. From the research they do , to being serviced and even after we service them, which all starts with our website and social media. There we provide plenty of content on examples of our work our process and most importantly our prices! Many companies shy away from posting pricing but that has always been something we are passionate about being transparent about.
We took a big look at what we like and expect from services we have used and essentially curated our preferred experience. As our business has grown we rely heavily on our customers’ feedback. We ensure they had a great experience from start to finish with Fresh Start Detailers and feel informed every step of the way.
What are we most proud of? I think we are most proud of how our business has evolved. It started with Interior Detailing and because of the support we have from San Antonio we have grown to so much more than that.

Growing our membership plan is something we are looking forward to this year!
We are currently implementing and will continue to give our customers a unique and personalized experience because we are a unique company.

- We offer premium mobile top to bottom interior detailing at $150-$200
- For the customer who wants a interior & exterior we charge $265 which comes with a machine polish and 3 month sealant .
- Our membership plan starts at $100 for us to maintain your vehicles Interior every 3 months!
- Paint Chip Consultation for $50 where do a walkthrough with you to discuss your concerns of your paint and or scratches
- Residential Deep Cleaning packages start at $300! We have lots of information on our website!
