Today we’d like to introduce you to Keelan Bell.
Thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, how did you get started?
For the last four years, I’ve been spending my time working diligently to complete a computer science degree from one of the most prestigious engineering schools in the country. But I realized there’s no reason I cannot be creative and help people feel confident and happy. I used an old, run-down camera when I was 15 or 16 to take photos of my friends or my old dog, but I decided to finally take the plunge and use a newer camera to capture people’s important moments!
We all face challenges, but would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
With any business, it helps if you have connections. I just moved to San Antonio, so I haven’t been able to get to know anyone yet! But other than that, it has been a smooth road.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a professional photographer. I specialize in senior photos and couples. My editing style is warm and colorful. I am most proud that I can work full-time as a data engineer and still do photography! And what sets me apart is my passion: I love being creative and doing what I do. And you can bet that I never overcharge or price gouge because I already make a living as a data engineer. I truly do this because I’m passionate!

San Antonio is a diverse and beautiful city. There are people from all walks of life, and they are all friendly. I have loved it here so far because of them! What I don’t like is the traffic.
