Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Cavinder.
Hi Stephanie, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Raised and grew up in San Antonio by a single hard-working mom. Realized I needed to be the hero of my own story. I joined the military, traveled Europe for 6 years, and then came back home to Texas and took up civilian law enforcement as a Deputy Sheriff for 3 years until moving to a full time content creator/TikToker/and twitch streamer!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Absolutely not, growing up with a single mom we learned to work hard for everything we got and many times life was a struggle. We were homeless multiple times. I got married young because I thought I understood what love was and thought I would never be put in the same struggles again if I wasn’t alone. That marriage was emotionally/physically/and sexually abusive. From there I got a divorce and joined the military/law enforcement where I learned being a female in a male dominated career field meant I didn’t have many fans and that I had to prove every day I could do my job vs being expected to already know how to perform my job after graduating the same training as everyone else was required.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a full time content creator ranging from short videos to modeling. Most of my videos include real life or comedy but all are relatable. My modeling ranges from cosplay to boudoir depending on the vision of the other creators I’m working with. I wanted to prove you can be both “badass and beautiful” along with being a little bit funny.
The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
I learned the most about myself, Covid made me put more effort into my creations and follow through.
