Conversations with Myriam Cavalli

Today we’d like to introduce you to Myriam Cavalli.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
In May 2021, during the lockdown and after various online auditions and self-tapes, I’ve got a Vocalist job in Ibiza – San Antonio for six months. It was a very enthusiastic period and the various number of shows (10), allowed me and the Team to perform different genres from rock to musical theatre and solo Cabaret.

During my days off, I had fun discovering the whole island on a motorbike and I can now state that my favorite places are Cala Tarida for the beautiful water; Benirraz for the incredible atmosphere, and Torre de Savinar for the stunning view.

I’ve spent most of my days in San Antonio, loving the Puerto area while shopping at ‘La Sirena’ to then grab a delicious Italian pizza at ‘Kvida Restaurant’. I’ve also bought one of my favorite neckless in one of the stands in the square next to the fountains: It is a handmade necklace with laces, stones, and a starfish – beautiful.

If there is something I will remember of the island, it’s its incredible energy. Everything seems so natural, so connected and so positive.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Obstacles are always behind the corner. It’s super fascinating to travel abroad for work or to follow a dream, but it’s never easy. It forces you to make big choices, to have courage, to risk, especially when your heart is full of love.

The difficulties I had to face between Covid, Brexit, and the stress of the job were many and the enthusiasm and professionalism made me not see them coming.

Let’s get to know more about Myriam and bit more about her work.
Myriam Cavalli is an actor-singer, model, and creative who has taken on the spotlight from a very young age by performing for many Italian shows. Some people think of her as a 360C artist. She moved to London at the age of 17 and graduated in Musical Theatre at the London College of Music to then become a performer and vocal coach. Right now, I am open to new students who would like to improve their skills through 1-2-1 sessions (see photo)

In 2018, while working as a model, Myriam launched her career as an independent pop singer and songwriter, releasing her first song ‘My Eyes’. A few years later, Cavalli started to collaborate with other artists, reaching more than 130k listeners all over the world with the song ‘Vicious Circle’, having particular success in the States.

Cavalli is a very energetic and determined performer with a positive multi-tasking attitude. She has experience on stage and backstage, working as Special Effects Make-up Artist, Stage Manager, and Assistant Director. Myriam loves challenges and she has released many other hits in 2021 like ‘Big Space’ and ‘Just a Dance’ in which she was also the Artistic Director of the Music Videos. At the moment, she is working on new songs.

Myriam is also a wearable art creator who works with incredible attention to detail for the brand ‘MiriaMaking’.
Her creations include shoes, jackets, bags, and many other items, focusing on bespoke-customization pieces.

The brand also covers macrame’ and crochet items, all original and unique.

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
I love collaborations, especially in music.

My projects can be quite complex sometimes for me to carry them so I share them with other artists.

Most of my songs are collaborations between videographers, photographers, colorists, musicians, and DJ/producers and so far I had the most productive and beautiful time.

I have the idea, I put together a team of creatives who fit and we work together to create it. Right now, I would be happy to collaborate with DJ/producers to create new electronic music that could sound more like ‘Ibiza’ as this island really influenced me from an artistic aspect as well.

However, I would be interested to know and to work also with musicians, restaurants who may need a singer for the next season and anyone who think we could create something great together.
