Today we’d like to introduce you to Maje$tic Mindz.
Hi Maje$tic, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
We’re a band/Hip-Hop group founded in June 2020 in Springfield Massachusetts, our goal is to bring the values of Hip-Hop once and all music once had.
We find that modern mainstream music hardly holds any values, lessons, or ideas that inspire the youth to grow and prosper.
Our goal is to change that, through conscious music, we hope to educate and inspire our listeners everywhere to understand that music isn’t just a sound.
It’s a story, a message, a vibe, and all the above.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
We’ve been fairly successful in getting our messages heard and making the word of what’s important, unfortunately, we’re still new and very small.
So creating various amounts of music and content is never an easy task, the competition can be very huge as well as our work not meeting the mainstream standards. However we don’t aim to be big stars or celebrities, Maje$tic Mindz mainly functions as a community for us to collaborate with great artists to make conscious music with or other local projects.
We plan to grow higher by the year alongside our opportunities, we certainly hope our listeners are excited about our upcoming projects.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
We’re not very well known yet, we’re quite small, and not many people have heard of us. We still take pride in our work and what we do, we want our fans to see the best of us wherever possible.
We are very proud of ourselves for being able to come together and create such an amazing group. But we are most enterally grateful to have our fans listening and checking out our content. This is very important as we want to remain unique among artists while accomplishing our goals, we have no interest in creating content that promotes gang violence, drug abuse, sex, and vain lifestyles.
We try to differentiate ourselves from mainstream music as much as possible to bring back the values of Hip-Hop and music as a whole. We hope to continue this journey into the future.
Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
We try to work with many people as possible but we currently only have 4 prominent members Straight Free D, Morg@n, Rain Bowrys, and Jah Sol.
They were originally featured artists until we decided to become a group, we’re very blessed for having them make this happen. We’re still open to working with anyone willing to provide the same values as us in the music scene. We are very selective in who we work with, as it is important for our mission.
It’s a lot of work and not a very easy thing to do, which is why listening, volunteering, and sharing feedback it’d be a great way to support us knowing people are hearing us.
