Conversations with LeShundia Porter- Session

Today we’d like to introduce you to LeShundia Porter- Session.

Hi LeShundia, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My entrepreneurial journey began years ago in the digital marketing and content creation space. As a graphic designer, content creator, and brand strategist, I built a career helping businesses and entrepreneurs tell their stories through branding, social media, and digital content.
Everything changed when I met my wife, Tiffany. As I attended more networking events, conferences, and community events, she would come along and capture photos and videos of me creating content. What started as supporting my business soon reignited a passion she had for photography that had been sitting on the back burner for years. Watching her reconnect with that passion inspired both of us.
As a wife and wife team, we realized we shared a love for more than just creating beautiful images. We loved preserving moments, telling stories, and helping people celebrate the milestones that matter most. That realization led us to launch TNL Snapped in Time, our photography and videography business dedicated to capturing life’s unforgettable moments.
Today, we have the privilege of documenting everything from weddings and engagements to birthdays, graduations, branding sessions, corporate events, family portraits, and community celebrations. We believe every person has a story worth telling, and every milestone deserves to be remembered.
Building TNL Snapped in Time together has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of our lives. We each bring different strengths and creative perspectives behind the camera, and together we’re able to create an experience where our clients feel comfortable, celebrated, and seen. Our mission is simple: to help people freeze moments in time through photography and videography so they can relive those memories for years to come.
We’re excited to continue growing our business, serving our community, and showing that when passion, creativity, and partnership come together, something truly special can be created.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Overall, it’s been a pretty smooth journey, and I think that’s because we genuinely love what we do. Photography and videography don’t feel like work to us they’re something we’re passionate about. Being able to capture people’s most meaningful moments is incredibly rewarding.
We’ve also been blessed with an amazing support system. Our family, friends, and community have believed in us from the beginning, referred clients to us, shared our work, and encouraged us as we’ve grown. That support has made a huge difference.
One of our biggest strengths is how well we work together. We each bring different ideas and creative perspectives to every project, and we balance each other out. When one of us has a vision, the other knows how to build on it, and that collaboration helps us create the best possible experience for our clients.
Of course, like any business, we’ve had moments where we’ve had to learn, adapt, and continue investing in our equipment, skills, and business. But we’ve always approached those challenges as opportunities to grow rather than obstacles. Every experience has helped us become better creatives and better business owners.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
At TNL Snapped in Time, we specialize in photography and videography that tells a story. We capture weddings, engagements, birthdays, graduations, branding sessions, corporate events, family portraits, and community events, but our work goes beyond simply taking pictures or recording video. Our goal is to preserve genuine moments and emotions that our clients can relive for years to come.
As a creative team, we bring two different perspectives to every shoot, which allows us to capture moments from multiple angles and ensure no important detail is missed. We work together seamlessly, making our clients feel comfortable, confident, and free to be themselves in front of the camera. We believe the best images come from authentic moments, not forced poses.
What we’re most proud of is the relationships we’ve built with our clients. Many of the people we photograph become repeat clients because they trust us to document the biggest milestones in their lives. There is no greater compliment than having someone invite us back to capture another chapter of their story.
What sets us apart is our heart. We don’t see our clients as just another booking on the calendar. We take the time to get to know them, understand what’s important to them, and create an experience that’s personal and enjoyable from start to finish. Every session is approached with creativity, professionalism, and genuine care.
Our mission has always been simple: to create timeless images and films that allow people to hold onto life’s most meaningful moments long after the day has passed. That’s why our name is TNL Snapped in Time because every moment deserves to be remembered.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters most to us is continuing to learn our craft and building meaningful connections with the people we serve. We believe that growth never stops. Photography and videography are always evolving, so we’re committed to learning new techniques, investing in our skills, and finding creative ways to better serve our clients.
Equally important are the relationships we build along the way. Some of our favorite moments happen before and after the camera comes out getting to know our clients, hearing their stories, and earning their trust. Those connections allow us to capture authentic moments that truly reflect who they are.
At the end of the day, we want people to remember not only the beautiful images and videos we created, but also how we made them feel. If our clients walk away feeling seen, celebrated, and excited to relive their memories through our work, then we’ve accomplished exactly what we set out to do.
