Hi Crystal, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started later in life as a working mom with a huge passion for helping people feel their best.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely not. During school we shut down during Covid so learning itself was a challenge that way. But with anything that you want bad enough, you make it work. I did and got hired right out of school and have been working consistently since on learning and growing my skills.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a cosmetologist, hairstylist and business owner. I love helping people achieve a hair style or color they have found and my most favorite thing is being given the opportunity to use my creativity and surprise someone with a style or color they would not normally pick and they end up LOVING!
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Listening and educating my clients. My goal is to always give my clients exactly what they want; however that is not always possible. Sometimes a client comes in with black hair and wants to go platinum in one sitting. For me, it’s a about keeping the health of the hair so ensuring my clients have all the facts and understanding the what we can do, how we can do it, and when it will be achieved.
