Hello, Cats Pajamas; thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, you could tell our readers some of your backstory.
I got robbed twice while living in New Orleans, leaving me homeless. The parking lot and my car became my new home for a few months. My thoughts immediately went dark, and I went into a depressive state. I had to snap out of it. How can I be creative? Who else has been in such a situation? Ella Fitzgerald, Tupac, and Krs One are a few people who struggled with homelessness and made their way to success. I grabbed my phone and began to record my experiences and those in my shoes. A pep talk to myself on how my current situation does not define who I am or my future. I took my recording, added some music, and put it out there for the world to hear. Cats Pajamas Radio show was born.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Doubts. Doubt is a struggle we will deal with from time to time. I’m no different. Who am I? Why should anyone listen to what I have to say? If I’m no different from others, I should change these questions. Would I listen to my show? Am I having fun doing what I’m doing?
If the answer is yes to these questions, I’m no different than anyone else. There must be others like me somewhere who would also enjoy listening to my show. And I pushed through these doubts and stayed consistent despite these thoughts. Sure enough, I found similar people.

I am Cats Pajamas! The host and owner of the Cats Pajamas Radio show! I have my own YouTube channel, am an event coordinator, am the editor of a Gnarr Gnarr magazine, and am the creator and designer of the Gnarr Gnarr clothing line. I have my style and swag like no other. Is there any other half-man, half-tiger, as cool as me? I think not.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I love orange juice but can’t stand to eat oranges.
