Hi New World Spanish, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
When I joined New World Spanish, the school had already started its journey, but I felt a deep calling to take it in a new direction-one that reflected connection, culture and heart. I wanted to create something that went beyond teaching grammar or vocabulary, something that allowed people to truly experience the richness of the Spanish language and the warmth of Latin culture.
Little by little through dedication and love for teaching, Together with a group of wonderful teachers, who share the same passion and love for teaching, we began shaping New World Spanish into a space where students of all backgrounds could feel welcomed, inspired, and connected. Over the years it has grown into a community that values kindness, learning and diversity.
Every student who joins us brings a story, and being part of their growth has been one of the most meaningful and rewarding experiences of my life. Today I am proud to see how New World Spanish continues to grow with authenticity, purpose, and a genuine love for what we do.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. Taking over an existing school came with its own challenges-adapting to a new vision, building trust, and finding the right balance between honoring what was already there and creating something new.
At first, it was difficult to introduce changes and modernize some aspects while maintaining the spirit that students loved. I also had to learn to navigate the administrative and cultural differences that come with leading a school in the United States.
But every challenge became a lesson. With patience, humility, and a lot of heart, I learned that growth doesn’t come from perfection-it comes listening, adapting, and continuing to move forward even when things get hard.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
New World Spanish, a place dedicated to learning the Spanish language and culture. We welcome students of all ages, from preschool children to adults. Whether you are looking to master the language for travel, work, or socializing, we offer the perfect program for your needs.
What are your plans for the future?
Looking ahead, my main goal is to continue growing New World Spanish as a space where language brings people together-not only children, but families, professionals, and anyone who wants to connect through Spanish and culture.
While our roots are in children’s education, we have expanded our programs to reach Learners of all ages. I believe that learning a new language is not just an academic goal, but a bridge to understanding, respect and unity.
In the coming years, I hope to strengthen our presence in the San Antonio community, collaborate with more local organizations, and create programs that celebrate diversity and inclusion through language and cultural exchange. My dream is for New World Spanish to keep inspiring people-young and old-to embrace learning with heart and curiosity.
