Today we’d like to introduce you to Michaela Cezena.

Michaela Cezena

Hi Michaela, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was born and raised on a ranch in Nebraska, where my dad instilled in me the importance of a strong work ethic and doing things right the first time—values that continue to guide me today.

I worked in the medical field until I became a mother. At that point, I found a cleaning job that accommodated my children’s schedule. That job marked a turning point in my life; instead of being seen as just someone to fill a shift, my strengths were recognized, and I was entrusted with more responsibilities. This experience challenged me to grow as a leader and strengthened my desire to succeed.

When I decided to move from Nebraska to Texas to be closer to my family and raise my children. I initially applied for a few positions. However, nothing felt quite like my previous team at Perfect Touch in Nebraska. With encouragement from my former employer, I decided to start Boerne Bespoke Cleaning. It began with a simple Facebook post, one client, and my sister’s support.

After a few weeks of setbacks that felt discouraging, I finally landed my first job—and it was a significant one. Thankfully, my sister was able to come along and lend a helping hand. After some long days, a few more clients from my Facebook post, and gradually purchasing supplies from my wish list, I started to see progress.

Months of hard, solitary cleaning work taught me to value the incredible clients I was fortunate to serve. Over time, I was able to build a small team. Today, I aim to inspire and support them so they can be the best they can be.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
With the grow of our team has many struggles. Constantly is one of our biggest challenges, to combat this our employees go through months of training side by side with me. We take our time with the process instead of handing our new hires a list of strangers addresses.

I never ask my teammates to do anything I’m not willing to myself, this means bathroom duty all day or taking on a solo job when someone is sick. The challenge with this is the office work piles up while I’m out sweeping floors. Evenings and weekends I still make my family a priority by taking them to and from sports and their favorite parks

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We offer residential and commercial Cleaning. We make bespoke cleaning plans for our clients because we understand every home or office has unique needs. We service Boerne and the surrounding communities

What were you like growing up?
I was a tom boy. My dad put me on my first horse at two and I fell in love with caring for animals. I spent my days off school helping my dad on the ranch, and free time playing with the colts in the barn. At 31 years old my dad was diagnosed with melanoma cancer. My mom is a super mom and took on so many roles while also being the main caretaker of my dad. 10 years ago he passed away. He taught me how to work hard, and treat people with dignity and respect and always have faith
