Community Highlights: Meet Jocelyn Davis of Golden Haus

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jocelyn Davis.

Hi Jocelyn, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Golden Haus was born out of both passion and necessity.

For years, I watched so many talented beauty and wellness professionals struggle with the same challenges: high overhead costs, lack of creative freedom, and very few spaces that felt both professional and inspiring. I knew firsthand how hard it was to build a business in this industry while juggling family, bills, and the pressure to make it on your own.

I wanted to change that.

Golden Haus Suites was created to be more than just a building with salon rooms—it’s a home for entrepreneurs. A place where hairstylists, estheticians, nail artists, barbers, and wellness professionals can walk in and feel proud of the space they work in, without the burden of managing everything alone. From the design details to the community culture, every element was built with the goal of helping others succeed.

But Golden Haus is also deeply personal to me. As a mom and businesswoman, I’ve always been passionate about creating opportunities for others—especially those just starting out. That’s why we built programs like the Golden Student Program, which gives beauty school graduates a chance to launch their careers with support instead of debt. That’s why we host community events and markets, where our tenants can grow their clientele and showcase their talent.

Golden Haus is my way of blending everything I believe in—entrepreneurship, creativity, empowerment, and community—into one space. It’s not just about renting rooms; it’s about building dreams.

At the end of the day, I started Golden Haus because I wanted to see people win. I wanted to create a place where passion meets opportunity, where entrepreneurs are celebrated, and where everyone who walks through the doors feels like they belong.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I am very grateful and feel as whole it has been a smooth road for me because I was building something i knew was going to be great. But as always it comes with the small struggles along the way from building improvements, design struggles and learning curves with tenants.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I think the biggest thing individuals notice me for is that I’m absolutely selfless when it comes to my businesses. My number one focus is to make sure everyone is supported and treated fair and because of that the money just follows. I created the golden Haus brand to support small businesses and help show them that it is possible. But I also created it to bridge the gap between education and real world – which I feel there isn’t enough of in our community.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
I feel that getting uncomfortable and finding and showing up to local networking groups is very important. Within those groups I have been able to find amazing support systems.
