Ivory Haven Event Center was born from a mix of personal passion, community connection, and a deep belief that celebrations deserve intentional, beautiful spaces. Over the years, I’ve worn many hats from social worker to healthcare professional, to running my own provider services agency, and working in the tech world. No matter the role, one thing has always remained constant, my love for people, serving my community, and creating meaningful experiences.
As I attended and hosted events, I noticed a real gap families in struggled to find a modern, intimate, and affordable space that felt both elegant and welcoming. That realization planted a seed in my heart. I wanted to create a venue that offered beauty without the barrier, a space where any vision could come to life with ease.
The name Ivory Haven reflects that dream. Ivory symbolizes purity, elegance, and new beginnings, while Haven represents a safe, welcoming space. Together, it perfectly captures the kind of environment I prayed Ivory Haven would be peaceful, uplifting, and full of possibility.
Before I took this step, I prayed over the vision, the location, the purpose, and the people it would serve. With faith, preparation, and patience, everything fell into place in God’s perfect timing, and Ivory Haven opened its doors.
Today, Ivory Haven is more than an event center it’s a space where families gather, milestones are celebrated, and creativity thrives. It’s the fulfillment of a vision guided by faith and built with intention.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The journey definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but it has been a purposeful one. Opening Ivory Haven came with its share of challenges. From securing the right location, navigating permits, budgeting wisely, and balancing my other businesses and responsibilities. There were moments that tested my patience and stretched my faith.
There were times when timelines didn’t go as planned, unexpected expenses popped up, and I questioned if I was truly ready to take on another major venture. As a wife, mom, and entrepreneur, finding the right balance was also a real challenge. I had to learn to lean on my support system, manage my time differently, and trust that every obstacle was part of the process.
But despite the hiccups, God kept guiding me step by step. Every setback came with a lesson, every delay came with clarity, and every challenge strengthened the foundation of what Ivory Haven is becoming.
So no, it hasn’t been a perfectly smooth road but every bump shaped this journey. Seeing the doors open, the lights on, and families celebrating inside the space makes it all worth it.

Ivory Haven Event Center is an intimate, modern event space designed for celebrations up to 100 guests. We provide a clean, elegant blank canvas that allows clients to bring any vision to life. Whether it’s a baby shower, birthday, bridal event, micro-wedding, brunch, or corporate gathering. Our goal is to make planning simple, beautiful, and stress-free.
What sets Ivory Haven apart is the intentionality behind the space. Every detail was chosen to create an atmosphere that feels bright, warm, and inviting. We specialize in offering premium aesthetics without the premium price tag. Clients also love that we are vendor-friendly meaning you’re welcome to bring in your own caterers, decorators, and other vendors to personalize your event exactly the way you want.
On top of that, our venue includes essentials like acrylic ghost chairs, round tables, linens, a sound system, a kitchenette, and easy parking. So guests can focus more on celebrating and less on logistics.
We’re known for being flexible, clean, and customer centered. I’m extremely hands on with my clients, making sure they feel supported from the moment they inquire to the moment their event ends. That personal touch matters to me because hosting people is an honor. These are life’s most cherished moments.
