Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
as a female artist, it is always hard to navigate in a male dominated industry so in that aspect, it has been challenging to earn the respect of my male cohorts, but the challenge has been accepted and also acknowledged as something to appreciate because it has allowed me to grow a tougher skin
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a singer, songwriter and a publisher of my own music and compositions
I am proud of directing and starring in my own music videos, as well as creating video concepts and ideas
I am responsible for putting my music out, distributing and marketing it as well as managing myself
I am most proud of standing my ground in a male dominated industry and letting my art and my music and my numbers speak for themselves
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I find San Antonio to be a diverse and unique culture
I enjoy the nightlife and it’s various activities involving the music scene, such as performing or networking with other artists
I feel that in every city and state there could always be more unity however, I believe that is just something that the world can work on in general
I find the food in San Antonio to be rich and multicultural exotic cuisines can be found constantly popping up
I enjoy our cities vast walking trails and find them to be grateful for keeping in shape and fun outdoor activities
At times I find the traffic can be so wild at certain times and that tends to be a dislike for me
On the other hand, at least I get to enjoy the beautiful skyline of the city of San Antonio
