Today we’d like to introduce you to Metta Mane.
Hi, Metta; we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Thanks to my father, I’ve been around music since I was born. Christmas 2000, I got my first drum set when I was two years old, and it’s been on ever since. I grew up being in and out of bands until I started working on my sound, birthing my first-ever album, Love Witta Price, in 2022. I’ve put out four albums since then, and this year, Love Witta Price II is coming out soon.
Would it have been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I’ve had more ups than downs on this journey, and I’m forever grateful for that; building from the inside out is the biggest challenge and, at the same time, not the biggest obstacle. Starting inward with the people you love and trust and growing from there makes the ride much smoother.
Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
My music is a kaleidoscope of emotions, blending smooth, rugged, fun, and serious tones. But what truly fills me with pride is the ‘Love Witta Price’ series. The first installment, released in July 2022, was a labor of love. And now, I’m eagerly preparing to share ‘Love Witta Price II’ with the world in mid to late August. These songs reflect my growth and progression, and I can’t wait for you to experience them.
Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
I have so many I can choose from; I’m blessed to have had a peaceful and loving childhood with my parents and sister. My favorite memory is Christmas of 2000, when I was gifted my first drum set, and it impacted my life in unimaginable ways.
