Today we’d like to introduce you to Kady Bentley.
Kady, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Also interviewing Ryan Wyman.
Klor Marketing started pretty simply. After years working with big agencies and national brands, we kept noticing the same thing: smaller businesses were often left behind. They needed SEO, content, and help managing their Google presence just as much, but rarely had the time, resources, or team to handle it.
That’s why we launched Klor. We didn’t want to be another full-service agency trying to do everything. Instead, we built a company around the services that actually matter for small and mid-sized businesses: Local and Organic SEO, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), Google Business Profile optimization, content management, and targeted advertising on Google and Meta.
From the start, we made partnership the core of what we do. We like to work directly with business owners, understand what makes their business tick, and build strategies that fit their goals. In the early days, that meant helping Hill Country businesses get found online and drive real results. Those partnerships grew, word spread, and soon we were supporting companies in other markets too.
Today, while we have the ability to scale, our sweet spot is still rolling up our sleeves and working alongside owners and teams ourselves. We’re not here to just deliver reports, we’re here to be a partner you can trust, so you feel confident your digital presence is taken care of and can focus on running your business.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Like any business, there have been challenges, but we’ve always seen them as stepping stones. One of the biggest has been balancing family life with building Klor. As parents, we know the juggle is real, school schedules, activities, and family time all matter just as much as client meetings and deadlines. Instead of fighting it, we built Klor in a way that allows us to be present for both.
On the business side, the fast pace of digital marketing keeps us learning and evolving. Search engines, ad platforms, and now AI tools are always changing, but that’s part of the excitement. It pushes us to stay ahead and make sure our clients do too.
At the end of the day, those challenges have helped shape Klor into what it is today: a family-run business that’s flexible, adaptable, and dedicated to partnering with other business owners who are juggling just as much as we are.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
At Klor Marketing, we focus on the essentials that actually grow a business online: SEO, GEO, Google Business Profile management, content strategy, and ad campaigns on Google and Meta.
What makes us different is our approach. When clients work with us, they work directly with us, not a rotating team. We pair years of big-agency and national brand experience with a hands-on style that is approachable, transparent, and built on trust. We are most proud of the long-term partnerships we have formed by focusing on results that matter and strategies that fit each business.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The biggest lesson we have learned is that simplicity wins. In digital marketing, it is easy to get caught up in every new trend or tool, but at the end of the day, businesses do not need complexity, they need clarity and consistency. By focusing on the core strategies that actually drive growth, we have been able to deliver results without overwhelming clients with noise.
We have also learned the importance of balance. Building Klor while raising a family has reminded us that success is not just about growth charts and metrics, it is about creating a business that works for your life. That perspective shapes how we show up for our clients too, helping them build a digital presence that supports their goals without pulling them away from what matters most
