Today we’d like to introduce you to Claudia Solitaire.
Hi Claudia, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My journey into yoga began during a time when I was trying to come back to myself. For a long while, I felt like I was just getting through the days, disconnected from the deeper parts of me. Yoga offered a quiet space where I could begin to rebuild that connection—slowly, gently, and without pressure. At first, it was just about showing up, but over time, it became something more. Through breath and movement, I started to feel things I hadn’t allowed myself to feel, to listen without judgment, and to honor what was there. Healing didn’t come all at once, but in small, steady moments of presence. Yoga helped me remember that I could feel safe in myself again—that I could come home, little by little, in my own time.
As I continued my practice, I realized that what had helped me so much in my own healing could be shared with others. I began studying somatic and therapeutic yoga, embracing a trauma-informed approach, and exploring sound healing as a way to deepen the experience. My work evolved naturally from there, and I knew that offering mobile services was the best way to meet people where they are, allowing them to access healing on their own terms and in a space that feels safe and familiar.
Today, I continue to be inspired by the way yoga and healing practices can support people in reconnecting with themselves, just as it did for me on my own journey.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but I think the challenges have been a crucial part of the process. In the beginning, I struggled with self-doubt and finding my voice within a field that was already so vast and diverse. There were moments of uncertainty about whether I was on the right path, especially as I navigated how to integrate my personal healing journey into my professional work.
I also faced logistical and practical challenges as I started offering mobile services. Building a client base, cultivating a space where people felt truly safe and comfortable, and balancing the demands of a growing practice took time and effort.
But every challenge taught me something valuable. It deepened my understanding of myself and my work, and I learned to trust the process — even when it wasn’t easy. The struggles ultimately strengthened my resolve and shaped me into the practitioner and person I am today
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I offer somatic and therapeutic yoga integrated with sound healing, all held within a trauma-informed approach. My work is centered around supporting others in gently reconnecting with themselves, tending to the effects of past experiences, and finding presence in their everyday lives. I believe in meeting each person exactly where they are—physically, emotionally, and energetically—creating a space where healing can unfold naturally and intentionally.
What sets me apart is my holistic, individualized approach. I don’t just teach yoga or sound healing; I create an experience that allows each person to feel seen, heard, and supported on their own unique journey. I’m deeply committed to making these practices accessible, whether through mobile services or adaptable sessions that meet each person’s needs.
What I’m most proud of is the trust and connection I’ve built with my clients over time. Watching people reconnect with themselves and experience profound shifts in their well-being is incredibly rewarding. Being part of their healing journey is what truly drives me, and it’s what keeps me grounded in my own practice and growth.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is that healing isn’t linear — for myself or for others. It moves in spirals, cycles, and seasons. I’ve had to learn to be patient with the process, to trust the timing of things, and to release the idea that there’s a final destination’ to arrive at.
Another core lesson has been the power of presence — really learning to listen, to hold space without needing to fix or rush. That presence, both with myself and with others, is where true transformation begins.
