Rising Stars: Meet Adeina Anderson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adeina Anderson.

Hi Adeina, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I was the District Event Manager for Michaels Arts & Crafts in Castle Hills and was asked by a local TV station to do a live demonstration on their morning talk show.

After that a cable network asked me to do the same, then I was hooked and as they say, the rest is history. I now appear on TV morning talk shows around the country promoting and sharing DIY projects, Travel Tips, and local places to check out and enjoy.

I also have a blog and social media platform that I have implemented into the Creative Lifestyles With Adeina media package.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not at all, in the beginning, it was trial by era. I had to learn a lot, from online technology to pitching companies, and pitching TV stations.

And with Covid almost destroying my company, I really had to learn the art of pivoting and rolling with the punches. I learned how to create and edit videos and do a lot of live streaming videos.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am most known for creating something out of nothing.

Whether I am creating home decor out of things from around our home or creating the perfect road trip out of simple things you may already have. I believe you don’t have to break the bank to get creative and have fun.

Risk-taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
My biggest risk was jumping from a corporate marketing job to running my own business. It’s not easy trusting yourself and believing you can do it, but as they say, if you don’t try, you will never succeed.
