Meet Natalia Bustamante of Eleven Ways Studio

Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalia Bustamante

Hi Natalia, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’ve always been a pretty creative person. Growing up, I was that friend who loved taking pictures, editing them, and making things look polished and put together—whether it was a photo, a project, or someone’s social media page. In high school, I kind of accidentally started helping people with their social media. I didn’t realize it at the time, but I was basically organizing their content, helping them figure out what to post, and making their pages look more intentional—just for fun!

After high school, I went on to UTSA and earned my bachelor’s degree. Even while I was in school, I never stopped doing the creative stuff on the side. I was always brainstorming ideas or looking at other people’s social media thinking, I could totally make this look better! Eventually, businesses started reaching out and asking if I could help them with their pages. At first, it was super casual, but then they told their friends, and those people told their friends… and before I knew it, I was getting mmore opportunities. People started noticing the projects I was working on and checking out my portfolio, and that opened up even more opportunities.

As I kept working with more clients, I was learning so much along the way—about branding, strategy, content, you name it. I started implementing everything I was learning and really developing my own process and style. That’s when I realized this wasn’t just a side hustle anymore; it was turning into something bigger. So about a year ago, I made it official, got my LLC, and turned it into a full-on business. Now I offer marketing services like brand strategy, content creation, photography, videography, and social media management. I work with a variety of clients, run their socials, create their strategy, and basically help bring their vision to life. It’s still early in the journey, but things have been growing ever since!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I think that’s part of the fun—figuring it out as you go. There’s definitely been a learning curve, especially when it comes to running the actual business side of things. When you’re creative, it’s easy to focus on the fun stuff like making content and working with clients, but then you realize there’s a whole other side to it—everything that goes on behind the scenes to really keep a business running.

But honestly, every step (even the tricky ones) has taught me something. I’ve learned to trust myself, grow through the challenges, and appreciate how far I’ve come. I’m still learning as I go, and I think that’s the best part

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?

I’m proud of how much we’ve grown, and how much heart goes into every project. Whether you’re defining your identity, elevating your brand experience, or building meaningful partnerships, we believe there’s more than one way to bring your vision to life.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
I’m a big fan of Mel Robbins’ podcast. She shares a lot of practical advice about mindset, confidence, and motivation—which has really helped me as I’ve grown my business. I usually have her on in the background while I’m editing or working on content. It’s nice to have something inspiring playing while I’m in the zone.

I also keep a big wall calendar in my room so I can actually see my month mapped out. Having it right there makes it easier to stay on top of things and plan ahead. Plus, there’s something super satisfying about crossing things off as I go!
